If you liked The End of the ******ing World, you'll like this. Based on the graphic novel by the same author as the graphic novel EotFW is based on, Charles Forsman, and co-created by the same co-creator as EotFW, Jonathan Entwistle. Similar awkward as f__k teen angst. Add in a bit of Stranger Thing '80's vibe, a bit of Marvel universe, and a bit of queer-ness. Mix in some unknown, very talented young actors. Shake well. Served in easily digested 20-25 minute episodes again.

I have two episodes left. It's short and easy to get through and pretty much as described above. But the teen angst/woe is me/what is happening seems to have gone on a bit long without a whole lot really happening. Seems like the final two episodes should have a *** ton happen.

Lots of streaming happening during work from home, sitting at home, and not leaving home.


Unorthodox was pretty good, albeit somewhat unsettling. I'm Jewish but reform. The intricacies of the ultra orthodox (and their somewhat "gangster" vs. "naivety" setup) was still a trip. 4 episodes make it a short watch. Oh those mikvahs and bedsheets...

I'm also watching season 2 of "Sunderland Til I Die". Whether a soccer fan or not, this is pretty fun documentary style show that follows Sunderland in their fall from the Premier League to the Championship, and subsequent fall to League One. Really interesting and easy episode watches. Good insight to how big an impact relegation can have on business structure and personnel for a professional sports team.

I'm struggling hard on Tiger King. I know it's an obsession with just about everyone. I just don't get it. Get off my lawn!

Believe it or not I've gone back and watched a bunch of Bob Ross episodes this week. It is extremely soothing in these crazy times.

I was also obsessed with the Tiger King for daaaayyyss. Like too obsessed, like when I closed my eyes I could see Joe. So, I annoyed all of my friends and came to this conclusion: It may be too white trash for some people. If you don't think that kind of "lifestyle" is funny, you're out of the loop on why it's EXTRA. So don't fret it does not have to be for you. =)

Also, working from home and not streaming during the day but when back to physical media. DVD. Yeah. Good times. Secret shame: Found all 6 seasons of Reno 911 (again too white trash for some) for 6 dollars at best buy 2 years ago,(cut to present day) almost done watching them all. Not mad. Circling back Thomas Lennon would be an awesome Joe Exotic for the Tiger King movie.

Guess he's not out of my system yet...

Funny you mention DVDs. I have been watching my newsradio DVDs this week. And nice score on the Reno 911 discs
 
I feel like I should watch Tiger King if for no reason other than it's now a cultural touchstone. Of all the things... But I still have all of Ozark and Babylon Berlin latest seasons to watch. And maybe now's the time to finally watch The Wire.

Ha! News Radio! Joe Rogan before the juice, Andy Dick was employed and the lead character was Canadian comedian. Bruh, winning.

Did not watch it in real time but caught most of it (not in order) on A&E(?) back in the day in re-runs. This is absolutely the beers taking NBob but if we were not internet strangers, we could trade DVD's once finished. One more buzzed thought: Sometimes a good white guy show is like meditation; if you stare past it and think of nothing...enlightenment.
