Exclusive: Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Big Trouble in Little China’ Will Be a Continuation, Not a Remake

Ok, I was soooooo mad when I saw this...BUT WAIT!!!!!!! The Rock is a smart man. He will NOT be playing Jack Burton. I really think this is geared towards the international market, and I am still highly suspect of it. But...at least they are being respectful of the original so far.

EDIT: just to be clear...I see no reason for this. My point was simply that it will at least distance itself from the original. Sadly, with these blatant re-skinnings of beloved 'properties', that's about the best you can ask for these days. I will, very likely, ignore this.

You know what Jack Burton always says at a time like this? Old Jack always says,"What the hell."

The Predator was soooo stupid and required about 10,000 gigantic leaps of faith even for a Predator movie. But, I was mildly entertained enough to enjoy the ride. The Looney Tunes A-Team vibe had a few good laughs. Thomas Jane is excellent (as always), although I can see the PC crowd not liking his character.

Mild Spoiler Alert

Because most doctors would immediately become John McClane after first seeing an alien, and watching it kill 15 people in front of you.....
