Whoa whoa whoa...
What is this nonsense? Giving people more than an hours notice after a twitter announcement? What is Comic-Con thinking?!??!?!
Hmmm, at least you've got time to see if the res is cancelled before you have to try for it right? Might be worth a phone call or six. . .Yeah...they go all Kobayashi Maru in the explanation too...if you already preregistered and are trying to improve your package...your original reservation can be cancelled...blah blah blah. So...dilemma. Do I try to get preview night or just leave well enough alone.

May just stick with what I have. The extra $50 can go towards the ridiculous hotel fees.
Right? I'm honestly thinking of just making the drive down from OC each day. Cheaper than spending $1200 on a room.
That was a thought as well. My only "issue" was the times as well as a place to put my stuff that I pick up/buy. It's a nice ride down though. I'm still back and forth about it really. You ought to consider the train. The SD station lets off right there. The problem is the stupid train times....you might find departure times convenient.

Well, I got my Wonder Con badge...let the geekdom begin. Adgy, I will see you there
Have fun. I'd like to get some feedback on that place from you guys after you go. Thought about going last year and this just to see.
They posted on their facebook page that it needed to be done already. I think it was Monday at midnight? Yup. Just checked again. Here's the page. https://secure2.comic-con.org/memberid/2013 San Diego Comic-Con Badge Registration Instructional Video | Collider
Tickets go on sale Saturday morning but you NEED to have an id to even try. Not sure, and it doesn't day in this article, but I think you need to get that part of the process done TODAY.
