All Things: San Diego Comic-Con

Yes, to the second one....and "Homoerotic" was the exact word I was thinking of using in reference to that "ewwww" moment. lol. Although, I don't remember it being near the shipping booth, as I recall it was near the back end of the vendor hall, where the smaller retailers are locacted (maybe there's a shipping booth there I didn't notice?). A small crowd was gathered to watch and we had to squeeze by....and what I saw will forever be seared into my memory. ;)

Why don't you 2 get a room? :eyebrows:

20 days until Comic-Con!

Does anybody know how the shuttles work?

I remember using one last year that stopped close by to the parking lot we were at, but this year im staying at one of the official partner hotels for comic con. And it has it's own shuttle but not sure how frequent are the pickups at the convention. Going to be going back and forth alot.

They work REALLY well early in the day and after the doors close. Anything other than that I can't vouch for.

And there are no dedicated shuttles for hotels I am aware of. The Con-provided ones have different routes that pick up @ hotels mostly with major parking areas thrown in.

EDIT: you know...other than last year when we were in national ****ing city...I have to say the one thing the Con has down is the transport.

Super excited, have wanted to see this show forever. Glad it is back in SoCal after I blew it last time and didnt go when it was in LA.

The Toucan Blog?s Tip of the Day offers some analysis of a rearranged booth floor with ?Where Did Your Favorite Company Go?, and where to find your favorite booths:
If you?ve looked at our CCI 2013 Exhibit Hall map (click here in case you haven?t . . . and shame on you; there will be a quiz!), you may have noticed that some of the companies have moved out of their traditional spaces this year. The floor has been slightly rearranged to remove some of the crowding issues we?ve encountered in the past. The video game companies have moved from the bayside of Hall G over into Hall A. The art dealers have been moved closer to Artists? Alley and the Illustrators Area; look for them beginning at aisle 4200. The vinyl and collectible toy area has also moved and has been expanded. You can find them with the other artists in Hall G. So if your one big thing about coming to Comic-Con is visiting these great booths, look for them in their brand new locations, all highlighted with color on the Exhibit Hall map.

interesting
