Soooooooooooo WB/DC bringing Suicide Squad and apparently JLA, maybe even the individual movies(Wonder Woman/Aquaman), and Marvel bringing Doc Strange/GotG2 and who knows what else. Sounds like a serious bidness Saturday...SmytheKing, we may be sleeping in line after all.
 
Forgot to update about my hotel wait-list wait. On the original Hotepocalypse sale I was around 300 something to get in but got my request void due to a later duplicate request due to my sister having the same last name.I was one of the first to receive the email on June 1st resale and boy they had every hotel available for booking. I got the Marriot Marquis and Marina :D So I'm pretty stoked about finally staying at this hotel after gazing upon the pool my first year.

I'm also not interested in the Gold MMPR Exclusive from Bandai this year, so I'm going to try and do Funko this preview night. Not a whole lot of cool exclusives this year though, other than the $125 Stan Lee Exclusive that allows you to meet him at a booth on Friday.

Okay, so I got lucky and was able to get a badge for Sunday. Any hints since I am bringing my son (age 9 and obsessed with Pokemon, Minecraft, Terraria, Star Wars)

Here's the schedule for Sunday. Not a lot specific to what he is into..but lots geared towards kids.

Likely plenty of stuff of the convention floor related to those things though. Comics, toys, clothes. Stuff like that.

If he's got that new pokemon go thing set up, there's a panel of Thursday that I'm sure will mention Easter eggs going on at sdcc for it. Could follow it on Twitter I guess.

Sunday is pretty easy. Good way to introduce him. Most of the exclusives are usually gone, but some of the booths loosen their restrictions in the interest of clearing stuff out. You are most likely to get good deals from the resellers on Sundays as well. The programming tends to be kid friendly on Sundays and most of the 'racier' cosplayers have closed up shop. Check the schedule, plan ahead...and have a back up plan just in case, so that you can limit the disappointment for your boy.
