All Things: San Diego Comic-Con

Yeah...the programming so far allows for less than early starts. I like the Hall H sched...provided we can get in. I think there will be some emptying after BBT, but not much. It's get there early or get assed out. And...just enough window after Thrones to pop over to indigo for Robot Chicken(that's a huge area/room btw) and Black Dynamite.

edit:crap, thrones/robot chicken overlap...dammit.

Comic-Con 2012: Godzilla Reboot Panel is Going to Be "Sick" | Shock Till You Drop

Legendary Pictures will be descending on Comic-Con this year in full force. Not only is the company going to be preview Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim, but it will provide a sneak peek of some sort of Godzilla! That's according to our pals at Latino Review, who dropped some big Marvel news today.

Now, Legendary is taking up prime real estate at SDCC. They'll be in the coveted Hall H.

The site would not say what will be shown from Godzilla - a project that has been in development for a bit now - but that it was going to be "sick."
Gareth Edwards of Monsters is directing. I'm guessing that they'll either be showing off some concept art or pre-viz FX perhaps...

No doubt about that. Firefly fans are worse than Twilight fans. :)

If I can't get in for the Hall H stuff, that's my fallback though. If I do, I'll be in that Hall all day long. I'll bring a couple of pens too in case someone gets out of line.

Yeah, I just see it as 3500 less people clamoring for Hall H. Hooray! :)
 
if it wasn't so far away I would be tempted to start the day in the Indigo Ballroom with Attack of the Show at 11...but Futurama it is...
 
Sorry Kq we may have to miss some animation...I have to be in Hall H 2:30to5...Pacific Rim/Godzilla/Hobbit/Superman...
 
I dunno...as much as I love the animation panels...Hall H is pretty solid throughout the day. And it seems as if it might be one of those better get in early days.

Fudge....I would love to see a Tarantino panel (it would be a Comic-Con first for us)...but yeah, probably no way we can do that and Ballroom 20. Unfortunately, there's a damn Vampire Diaries panel after the animation block, so you're going to have a lot of those people squatting for seats in the animation panels. I could handle missing Futurama, Simps and American Dad....but missing Family Guy is gonna really hurt.... :(
