I'm not going, but I'm pretty excited for the news we should be hearing from SDCC. This is always a great time of year for us comic books nerds! :)

Me and the Q scored front row tix for the Robot Chicken NERDHQ panel...Seth Green rools. I was determined to not be a total slave to the convention center and visit some more offsite events. This is a great start.

Comic-Con 2013: Pre-Order Predator 3D, Get a Customized Figure With Your Head! | Shock Till You Drop

Ok, while the slide whistle moment where we thought we were getting a new Predator flick has come and gone, this...

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment is bringing an iconic franchise to San Diego as Predator hunts for prey on the convention floor.

In a first-of-its-kind activation at Comic-Con, fans can enter booth #3528 and have their photo taken with state of the art cameras courtesy of 3D Systems.

Their image will then be used to make them the victim as a customized figurine is created using 3D Systems 3D printing technology that features the Predator alien holding the fans’ severed head!

Is kinda pretty damned KOOL.

Ryan Kwanten Comic-Con Short Film Images Produced by Adi Shankar | Collider

While we’ve seen time and time again that it’s hard to keep any reveals at Comic-Con secret, last year we got a really cool surprise by way of the short film Dirty Laundry. Produced by Adi Shankar (Dredd, The Grey) and directed by Phil Joanou, the short saw Thomas Jane reprise his role as The Punisher in a hardcore, unrated portrayal that was made purely for and by fans of the comics character. We just may be in for another similar kind of surprise this year, as Shankar recently tweeted a pre-VFX still from his “follow-up to Dirty Laundry,” teasing that the mystery character would be revealed at the Machinima Comic-Con panel on Saturday, July 20th at 10am in the Indigo Ballroom.

We’ve got a few more exclusive images from the secretive short to debut today, and we can tell you that the film stars True Blood’s Ryan Kwanten and was directed by Joe Lynch. Hit the jump to take a look at the images, and stay tuned for the very, very exciting reveal.

That teen titan thing is awesome, just seen pics from twitter.

Well going to start packing my stuff, count my money. See you guys after the con and have a great SDCC for those going!!
If the hotel has wifi, i might upload some pics. :)

Packed. Gotta load up the vehicle, fill the Red Dog cooler w/ice and water, and it's on like Donkey Kong. Gonna be a fun con I can feel it. Safe travels e'ryone. Now I gotta go do some last minute revisions to the RoadTrip playlist!~!!!!

Last night was uneventful as I thought (I saw all of your toys, still packed up in boxes however :monkeylaugh: ), although it's always eerie walking around a practically empty SDCC decked out for Comic Con. Calm before the storm.

I did make an early trip to the check out the Godzilla building on 7th, it looks cool from the outside so I can only imagine what will be going on inside!

I'll head back down early (REALLY early) Thursday morning. See ya there...

To those attending...travel safe, have fun...and hopefully we'll see you there! :)

ok, the Godzilla encounter was the equivalent of a West Hollywood artist loft. The pics in that post a few up are better than the actual experience. NERD HQ is BETTER than Hall H. $22 for great...very very intimate panels. Got to be close enough to scare Seth Robot Chicken Green and Zac CHUCK Levi. Really passionate guys who appreciate their fans sincerely. Just a great experience. Oh...and no long ass waits to get shut out. Got to hang with my boy SmytheKing, just a terrific day. And tommorow, another NerdHq panel, Robot Chicken, Bobs Burgers, AND ARCHER!!!!!!!!! Oh...The Wilfred panel with an unaired, really ****ed up episode was fun too.

Got up early to head down to Hall H...checking twitter, line already halfway to Mehico by 6am. Oh wells. Got Zac Levi & friends panel @ 11:15 over at NerdHq, and all the cool animation stuff @ Indigo. AND my paycheck just went in, so...SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!!

Happy hunting!

Someday I will go to this show. Going to try my luck at the Seattle one next winter with my cousin who said it is very good.
