All Things: San Diego Comic-Con

JerseyDevil, did you end up getting your badges?

Also, forgot to mention I got my first choice hotel on the last draw, Best Western Bayside Inn. Love the location and how i can just walk to the convention center.
I can usually get those hasbro and anything popular exclusives without having to worry about it selling out since my brother is handicap so we get to line up at the doors inside. That's how I got my gold morpher last year. Though I really hope they do those magic cards again, man those things were selling on eBay for $500 which is ridiculous. I just hope they have another power ranger exclusive that i can add to my mini collection.

Yeah...they came through. And...we got our 4th choice as far as hotels go. Fully expect to get offered to one of the higher ones we are waitlisted on, but if not...no big deal.

That's great. They sent me a request to complete my order but I got lucky and got preview night and the rest on the last sale.
Yeah as long as you got a hotel that's good

Nice. Never stayed in a downtown hotel so i am pretty excited. On the other email I submitted I got the T&C but it's too far and costs $more.

Chris Hardwick Returns to SDCC with Nerdist Podcast Live!, @midnight Shows | San Diego Comic-Con Unofficial Blog

sharing yet.

Either way, fans of Mr. Nerdist will be seeing him again in San Diego, as he just announced two shows at the Balboa Theater during SDCC.

The first will be a live version of the popular Comedy Central show @midnight, where three celebrity contestants try to “win the internet” by delivering the funniest take on the day’s social media happenings. No word yet on which celebrities will make an appearance, but based on past Nerdist Podcast Live! shows, they are certain to be fan favorites.

The second will be a return of the Nerdist Podcast Live! show with Hardwick, Jonah Ray, and Matt Mira. Again, no special guest has yet been announced, but years past have included Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, and a very lively and memorable John Barrowman.

@midnight Live! will be on Friday July 25 at 10:30pm, and Nerdist Podcast Live! will be on Saturday, July 26 at 10pm. Tickets for both shows are $30 each, and will go on sale to the general public this Friday, May 9, at 10am PT. A special pre-sale will be held on Thursday, May 8, for those with a special password found on the Balboa Theater Facebook page.

Oh man, @Midnight would be fun, no way I can last that long though...

NECA?s San Diego Comic-Con 2014 Exclusives [UPDATE MAY 16] | San Diego Comic-Con Unofficial Blog

[UPDATE MAY 16] The second of NECA?s exclusives has been revealed, and it?s a triple-threat Pacific Rim set. Just like with Super Freddy Retro, this set is limited to 5,000 pieces, and will be available for $60.
Pacific Rim ?End Titles? Jaeger Action Figure 3-Pack: This special edition 3-pack is a deluxe recreation of the end credits for the hit film Pacific Rim! It contains black-colored, high-gloss-finish action figures of Gipsy Danger, Crimson Typhoon, and Striker Eureka, packaged and positioned in the same formation seen in the credits. The 7″ Jaegers also have glow-in-the-dark paint effects on their ?visors? (or conn-pod windows).
The background insert and printing on the acetate window utilize the same graphics created by Imaginary Forces in rendering this scene for the film. The window box is covered with a protective slipcover featuring an embossed foil-printed insignia of the Pan Pacific Defense Corps.
