I missed The Voices at Sundance and TIFF, and it has hurt both times because I’ve heard the film is delightfully insane. Insane to the point where even though Lionsgate acquired, there was the question if the movie could even be released. Thankfully, the film now has release date and Lionsgate has provided some new images as well. Ryan Reynolds, Gemma Arterton, Anna Kendrick, and Jacki Weaver star in the psychological thriller about Jerry Hickfang (Reynolds), a factory worker who fancies his co-worker in accounting. Per the official synopsis, “When their relationship takes a sudden, murderous turn, Jerry’s evil talking cat and benevolent talking dog lead him down a fantastical path where he ultimately finds salvation.”

More like dark comedy with fantastic elements so not sure where to put this. Since I heard about this I have been keen on seeing it and it's been a while since any news...so color me happy.

Rupert Wyatt Says He Hopes to Shoot ECHO CHAMBER Next Year or the Year After; 10-Part TV Series Will Have a Sci-Fi Context

Director Rupert Wyatt’s been attached to Echo Chamber for quite a while now. Back in 2012, it was reported that HBO was developing the miniseries, which would cover the true story of a British solider who infiltrates the Irish Republican Army in the 1980s. As he rises through the ranks, he must deal with betrayal and life threatening situations.
At that time, the plan was to air the series as three 90-minute telecasts, but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. On top of that, while talking to Wyatt for his upcoming release, The Gambler, he told me that Echo Chamber isn’t about the British solider/IRA scenario specifically and that his take has a sci-fi component to it. Hit the link for more.

Finally got around to watching Snowpiercer. That was something awesome, eh? :)

Just watched "Live Die Repeat" this weekend. I was pleasantly surprised by it...even with its dumbass title and Tom Cruise.

Great concept and story. Two Thumbs up.

It was called Edge Of Tomorrow in the theaters, and Live Die Repeat was the tagline. In both cases, the marketing department failed to show even 5% of the creativity of the actual movie.
