All things:sequels

They should see if Daniel Day Lewis and Al Pacino also want to co-star in one of the worst franchises in cinema history. That will totally save it. Now if you will excuse me, I am going to put chocolate on Domino's Pizza.

Strongly disagree. Sentiment around these parts supports your argument, but still...strongly disagree. To me, these are giant fun.

INDIANA JONES Deal Struck Between Disney and Paramount for Future Films | Collider

Posted this in the Spielberg thread but this is news bad enough to post EVERYWHERE. How long is it till Disney's profit generator cranks out some reboot with _____ as the new Indiana Jones. Maybe they will at least be clever about it when Will Smith becomes the new Indy and rename him Texarkana Jones or some such thing. Welcome to the future where Disney owns your soul....

I have no problem with this. Also, Disney already owns my soul, not that I'm happy about that, but that's how it is.

22 JUMP STREET Synopsis. 22 JUMP STREET Stars Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum | Collider

Here’s the official synopsis:

After making their way through high school (twice), big changes are in store for officers Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) when they go deep undercover at a local college. But when Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team, and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art major scene, they begin to question their partnership. Now they don’t have to just crack the case – they have to figure out if they can have a mature relationship. If these two overgrown adolescents can grow from freshmen into real men, college might be the best thing that ever happened to them.

Was the first one really that good? Or good at all really? I dunno.

I enjoyed it. It was funny enough to be worthwhile.

But do you ever need to see it again? Or want to? It was light/airy/and basically a use once then discard. The best part of the flick was the SPOILERS JD/PD cameofest at the end. Other than that, maybe the ice cream hallucination. I would rather see a reboot of Bosum Buddies than another one of these.

I've actually seen bits and pieces of it multiple times because it's been on when nothing else has. Nothing special, but I enjoy it.
