All things:sequels

I'm thinking he had to do a little penance for what might be perceived as attitude issues due to the whole Walking Dead debacle, and his Mob City taking the dirt nap didn't help. Frankly, a sequel is beneath him, but let's hope for the best.

Such a blatant reboot/pirate the brand. At least, from all reports JJ is ushering Star Wars into our lives with a nod to the old school. This just seems a tired retread/cash in.

Could not agree more. And now that there's one less Ghostbuster to do it, it feels even cheaper.

Con Air 2 Would Be "Con Air in Space", Says Director Simon West

Speaking with ScreenDaily about seeking out crowd-funding for his next feature, the action comedy Salty, West spoke about how he?d make Con Air 2:
?I would do it if it was completely turned on its head. Con Air in space, for example ? a studio version where they?re all robots or the convicts are reanimated as super-convicts, or where the good guys are bad guys and the bad guys are good guys. Something shocking. If it was clever writing it could work.?
Now clearly a script isn?t written and the project isn?t even in active development at a studio, but it?s certainly?interesting?to consider a Con Air in Space movie with reanimated super convicts. Judging by the kinds of films that Cage says ?yes? to nowadays, it actually isn?t totally out of the realm of possibility to see him signing on for such a feature, but again, no studio is involved and I would be quite surprised to see someone greenlighting a space-set Con Air sequel
