These New ‘Kingsman 2: The Golden Circle’ Plot Details Reveal Our Favorite Agents Are Heading To America
http://uproxx.com/movies/kingsman-2-plot-details/

It is a truth universally acknowledged that any successful film must be in want of a franchise, so production for Kingsman 2 is clipping along at a steady pace. While we had already heard that Julianne Moore and Halle Berry would be joining the film, director Matthew Vaughn recently sat down with Empire magazine and spilled the beans on a few new details, including the fact that the film’s official title is Kingsman 2: The Golden Circle.

Let’s get the sad news out of the way: While he was previously rumored to return, it does not look like Colin Firth’s Harry Hart will rise from the dead and return for the sequel. However, Taron Egerton (a.k.a. possibly young Han Solo) will be back in the lead as Kingsman’s latest recruit, and Mark Strong’s Merlin will still be making all of the cool toys. However, Kingsman 2 will be an “international story,” and Eggsy and Merlin will find themselves teaming up with their American counterparts, Statesmen. The American secret organization will be run by Halle Berry’s Ginger and disguised as a whiskey distillery.

Well...that blows.

Simon Pegg Reveals New Details about ‘Star Trek Beyond’
http://collider.com/star-trek-beyond-plot-simon-pegg/

I really feel bad for Pegg and everyone involved with this. I will tell you now, there is NO POSSIBLE WAY this is any good. In an effort to meet an unrealistic release date and capitalize on an anniversary, the studios forced this into being before it was even close to being ready. It's why people 'exited'. And poor Simon Pegg was shanghai'd into trying to work this thing into shape on the fly. Just a waste. Especially since Idris Elba is the villain. At best, this is tolerable but forgettable.
