..yeah, like Outlander they greenlit 3/4 at the same time. So far...no word on s5, but I have to think it's a matter of when not if. I have not seen tangible proof, but I am pretty sure, despite costs, Outlander and Black Sails are the Cadillacs of the Starz original programming.
 
Yeah, I'm waiting on the Season 5 renewal announcement. Season 4 was announced by this time last year sooooooooo...come on, guys. Gimme my Black Sails fix.
 
I would like to get to Black Sails, but would have to start from the beginning since I haven't seen any of it. I know that's bad and I should feel bad. :fpalm:

I'll try to make a point of getting to it this Summer since there's less TV going on and hockey is over. I learned in life that one can reform. ;)

Maybe in time for SDCC. I think they are currently filming, so maybe that explains the delay. They usually show for NYCC, so we definitely should know by then.

They just wrapped filming last week or the week before. Not like I'm following all of the actors and writers and showrunners on Twitter hoping for any inside look at Season 4. Noooooo way. Definitely not.
I KNOW the renewal is coming, but I can't help being impatient. Black Sails is my addiction.

This cast is pretty massive for a Direct to cable offering. With the praise coming from Gaiman recently this has a lot of BUZZ on it. Looking forward to this.

I think it's high time for me to dust off this novel! :punk:

This is shaping up to be epic. Piece by piece. In a tweet yesterday/today, Neil Gaiman said that the first season will cover about a third of the book. Sounds about right. It is his longest novel and there is a lot of material. It's probably my favorite of his with Anansi Boys second.

I am *still* crossing my fingers for a Sandman TV series. I know there's been talk about a Sandman movie, but that just screams TV series. If you weirdos can get a Game of Thrones series, why can't I get my Sandman series!!! :pssst: mhihi:

I just got Starz and binged Season 1 of Ash Vs. Evil Dead. I'm kind of surprised there wasn't a dedicated thread... or there is and I just didn't notice it.

either way, this show is brilliant.
