All Things: TELEVISON

Martin Henderson THE RED ROAD Interview | Collider

Still have to catch the finale' but this has been entertaining. Nice to see B.J. Honeycutt(Mike Farrell) not so nice...Tom Sizemore(goddamnnitall...what did you do to yourself?). Best part...Momoa. Very charming and sympathetic despite not doing very nice things. A little slow at times, but it's meant to be. Biggest complaint, a lot of subplots sorta half baked(presumably because, depending on the success this might be a recurring series).

Yeah...stupid human tricks, the alka seltzer suit, Larry Bud, Chris Elliot...Dave used to be sooooooooo much more. Haven't watched in years...as good as he is, it feels like he is phoning it in. Besides, Late Night is a young man's game these days.

Super Dave Osborne!

Letterman was great in the 80's but lost my intrest back around 1993 when he went to CBS. The writing went to hell after that.

Good thing is Paul Shaffer will go away now...coat tail ride'n douche.

Hey c'mon...who can forget A Year at the Top w/Greg Evigan. LOVED that show. And Arnie Pfufkin.

Hey I like Paul!

I was too young to enjoy Letterman pre-CBS and I doubt it was even on Swedish television. But I watched the Late Show as often as I could during the mid to late nineties. Not really watching a lot of talk shows anymore, outside of Youtube clips of interviews with my favorite comedians.

I haven't had the chance to watch Fallon on the Tonight Show yet, how is he doing?

Hey jd, do you the last day for networks to announce renews/cancellation? It's coming up soon right? Still holding out hope for Revolution and Community... =x

Not aware of a drop dead date...but yeah, as far as schedules I think they need to make the call soon. Somehow I see Community getting another season, Revolution, not so much. Hannibal, sadly, also on the bubble.

Stephen Colbert to succeed David Letterman as host of "The Late Show" - CNN.com

Woah. Is he gonna continue to play his Colbert Report character?

Great brave choice. In this 'late night is a young man's game' age, Colbert ain't exactly young and doesn't bring the 'youthful exhuberance' of Kimmel/Fallon. What he brings is class, clever humor, credibility and SNARK. That is SOOOOOOO not gonna go over in the 'less smart' states where the ratings are most important. This...is gonna be fun to watch.

Man, Jon Stewart would have been the defacto choice years ago. He doesn't seem to want to work that hard, and that's refreshing to see.

Feels like every other Disney show, not like Boy Meets World.

Not that I'm surprised...
