I'm probably forcing myself to enjoy it more than I should, but the melt down (and first shot of tequila ever) for that dude on last night's King of the Nerds was fantastic.

And the world can always use more mayim bialik..
 
Marc Forsters ?Hand of God? taps Sons of Anarchys Ron Perlman

Having recently appeared as Clay Morrow on six seasons of FX’s "Sons of Anarchy", Ron Perlman is on board for a new television series in the form of "Hand of God".

Deadline he’ll headline the Amazon Studios pilot directed by "World War Z" helmer Marc Forster. According to the report, "Hand of God" focuses on Judge Harris Pernell (Perlman), described as “a hard-living, law-bending married man with a high-end call girl on the side who has a religious awakening and starts having visions and hearing voices through his ventilator-bound son that could be God speaking to him.” Filming is said to begin in March.

It seems Perlman has been attached to "Hand of God" for quite some time. In November, he spoke with Entertainment Weekly about his "Sons of Anarchy" departure, and said he’s “already about 700 miles down the road in terms of what’s next for me. So, I’m incredibly excited about what lies ahead.”

okay Black Sails - II. (spoiler alert)


I'm still learning everyone's names, but there seems to be a nice showdown looming between captain's crew (looking for the lost page) and the other captain's crew (long hair who's 1st in command fell off a cliff and dropped the pearls in the water). I can't tell if that long haired dude is a supreme villain or has some humanity to him. Like he stabbed the guy without pause on the cliff, but he also seemed pretty dismayed when that girl told him to **** off despite their past history ("it's just business").

My character descriptions are awesome.

I'm trying to stick with it, but I also am hoping this is not going to be a series where episode after episode goes by and not a whole lot of progress is made.

and p.s. naming the episodes I, II, III etc make it really easy to keep track of order on my dvr if I ever go a few episodes deep. For this I thank them.
 
Ok...King of the Nerds...I cannot watch LARPing without breaking out in allergic douche chills. YIPES. And singing too...gawd, kill me!!!!!

That guy needs to be watched. He night snap and "end" someone for real.

I'm liking Jack the bioengineer more and more. But bald is not a good look for him.

I think Katie is the designated "hot" contestant now. She did look better with long hair. But character-wise, "meh".

Nicole is the sweet "motherly" figure who wants everyone to get along, but ultimate will get played out of the game. But her quote on the bio page says "Star Trek or Star Wars: Doctor Who", so she gets a thumbs up from me.

I've been to the pirate show the winners went to (it's technically buena park, not anaheim). And it was great.

I hope Joe realizes a mother and her two identical twin sons running a murder scheme, even in his honor, is lame and he kills them all.

the french girl from that show where the Navy guys took over a nuclear submarine....yeah I like her
