All Things: TELEVISON

Almost Human looks marginally better simply because Michael Ealy and Karl Urban are better than average. Looks really cliched though. God it's gonna be a race to the delete file...

I actually made up an overly complicated TV Death Pool game that I did a few times several years ago. I can try to find it and hopefully the advances in modern technology will make it easier to do. You get points based on how many episodes a show airs before being cancelled, and keeping track of that was a bit of a pain. There were also points for timeslot changes and maybe a few other things.

Already like it. Bring it on and...show of interest everyone???? I'm in.

OOOfa I defy you to watch the trailers for Sleepy Hollow and Dracula...these are gonna get cancelled before they even air. Jayzus...what a crapfest. I can't even find any optimism in either of these. Just horrible.

Really??!! I kind of thought Sleepy Hollow looked interesting in a National Treasure kind of way ...

Dunno, i had a hard time getting thru the trailer. The Starbucks/emancipated jokes just seemed like low hanging fruit. And when the guy with the head hidden by a shoulder rig goes all machine gunny I was just about out of time. I swear, if they aren't remaking something they are doing some kind of it's ________ in the future/current times. Just so weak. This just looks like a show with NO back story that basically trots out a variation of itself every week. And Grimm is already on the air. Then they use Orlando Jones(who I happen to think is pretty funny) in, what appears to be the stereotypical 'angry black lieutenant' role. The biggest thing, and I simply cannot forgive this, they show Clancy 'the KURGAN' Brown and before my geek boner can fully flex...ooops he's dead. IN THE PREVIEW???? Yeah...your mileage may vary but I would put this one on the better do well early or it's toast by episode 5 list.

Wait a minute???? Interesting in a National Treasure way????? Wow, there's a sentence that rocks my faith in humanity. I still love you brother.

You forget I have kids that drag me to movies, or at least make me watch stuff I don't want to (hack, cough, vomit ... Twilight - hey the wife said I had to since I introduced them to Blade Runner, Star Wars, geek movies). And yes Nat'l Treasure is one such film.

I noticed the waste of Clancy Brown. Trust me. It is a waste. We will see. My true faith in TV is well known on this site. Main stream media is rushing to fill the void that SOA, Justified, Breaking and TWD have left open. They forget, though, it is about story and writing. I may give Sleepy Hollow a look see. I did with Grimm. But like every other show I can't keep up week to week.

One question. Does anyone else like Blue Bloods? This is one show I usually don't miss.

I can't believe they brought Whose Line back! I've watched every old episode at least five times.

Oh, and for those of you still watching Grimm...it is going to be moved back to Friday(again). I tell you, they want an excuse to kill that show. That's the only explanation for taking their one solid if unspectacular winner and doing the hokey pokey with it time slot wise.

Bastards...
