All Things: TELEVISON

I will give thumbs up to the 12 Monkeys television version. Started off decent and has made it to really good, especially the ending of the third episode.

The post-Superbowl Blacklist was very good as well, even if that maximum security prison was being run by people even less competent than Agent Carter's coworkers. The show has made a very nice recovery from the ridiculous episodes that started the season.

I tried Man Seeking Woman, but the ratio of 'trying way too hard' to 'funny in a new way' was just not good enough and the opening part with his hand talking to him was painful to watch. Loved the jigsaw puzzle parts though.

I'm trying to think of which night would be ideal for NBC to put this on when it airs. Maybe Monday after The Voice? It's suicide if they put it on Thursday or Friday.

The general consensus seems to be Friday. If they stick with Constantine and Grimm is still in season, of course. It's being billed as an 'event' series, so it's clear that unless the ratings say otherwise, this will be a one and done.

That's probably the closest we're gonna get to a Saved by the Bell reunion. Nobody wants to hang around with that clown, Screech. Would've been nice if Lisa would had been there too.

I read a comment somewhere (I think IGN) and someone said something like, "What did Mr. Belding do? Eat Screech, Lisa, Tori, AND The New Class?"

Pretty mean, but funny.

Lark Voorhies was "too busy"?

They all looked relatively similar to high school look, but Lisa?

The makeup people did such a good job on the actors that for the first minute I thought they had just digitally inserted Fallon into some old footage from the original show.

*Le Sigh*

Still waiting for the "You Cant Do That On Television" reunion.

I was already smoking dope and chasing chicks in High School when SBTB came out. Didnt give 2 f***s about that show. Still dont. ;)

4 Episodes into Black Sails and totally enjoying it. Max is a frigging bombshell. She's worth the price of admission, alone.

Is this the right thread for Black Sails? Didn't see the HBO logo to start the show but I've never heard of "Starz". In any case, I too am a handful of episodes in and enjoying myself. Kept hearing good things so I had to check it out and it probably won't be too long before I'm caught up.

Watched the first 2 eps of s2 and things are verrrrry interesting. Glad you two are jumping in. I swear I have watched season 1 like 6 times already. It's a terrific show with great characters and lots of pirate politics. And, oh yeah...it's freaking beautiful to look at. Kingsqueen got tired of me waxing about it so I got her caught up. Keep watching.
