Steve Strange, singer with British band Visage and one of the founders of the 1980s’ New Romantic style, has died. He was 55.
Strange’s record label said he died Thursday in a hospital in the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheik, of an apparent heart attack.

If I remember correctly Visage was sort of an Ultravox(Billy Currie / Midge Ure) side project with John McGeoch (Magazine, Siouxsie and the Banshees)
and fronted by Steve Strange

At least that's what it felt like to a kid living in SFV at the time

Death of the Nu Rows

RIP

Long time reporter Stan Chambers dead at 91 Link:

Years ago I contacted Stan to talk to a history of mass media class I was teaching. He was not only a living example of television history, having done one of the very first live remote feeds, but also one of the nicest people I have ever met. He came out to speak several more times over the next few years, and even brought his wife along with him. He retired from TV news at 87 and spent most of his career in the field. Great journalist and reporter, and even a better person.
