Was actually excited when I woke up and it appeared no one had died...
and then this

?Grizzly Adams? Star Dan Haggerty Dead At 74

it's the end of our childhood!! More sad for my sister...she loved, loved, loved that show and became a veterinarian out of her love of animals. She carried a stuffed grizzly bear around for at least a year because of his show.

Also, sounds like he was a really nice guy in real life.

Brian Bedford, Voice of Disney's 'Robin Hood,' Dies at 80

One of my fave Disney flicks as a kid...
Funny story. While in college I worked for a local parks and rec and my job that spring break was to take an old reel style projector, mobile film screen and copy of Robin Hood and go to about 20 parks and show that movie for the week. I never hated a Disney movie more after that week! Sad things was I liked it before that week!

My wife met him at a LB Grand Prix in the late '70's and said he was very, very nice.

Sad - too many going way too soon!

I really liked The Heat is On when I was a kid.

RIP :(

It's members from the Baby Boomers that have been mostly dying. That realization makes me sad.

O/T but when did Kopitar play with The Eagles?

While this may not apply specifically to Glenn Frey, a lot of the older rockers did not live healthy lifestyles and with smoking and everything else, late 60s to early 70s is where a lot are going to be checking out. We joke about how someone like Keith Richards survives despite all his bad habits, but most aren't going to be that lucky. Bowie and Lemmy are prime examples.

RIP Glenn.
