James Cotton was a legend! I heard about his passing Thursday at the Mike Zito show at Saint Rocke.

You never heard Ucks fans singing during My ding-a-ling...

Leave it to someone who plays My Ding-a-Ling and Run Rudolph Run at a Salvation Army kettle every year...

Requiescat in pace...

Very sad. I heard about his passing also at a Mike Zito show in Arcadia. I told Zito I don't think I can come to his shows anymore.

I hope his death doesn't get lost in the shuffle. A true Horror Comics master and Swamp Thing is one of the greatest comic monsters ever.

Bernie was a friend for well over 30 years, tremendous talent but a better person. He always had time for his fans and was blessed with a keen sense of humor.
Rest in Piece my friend.

here are some links to some of the work I was able to have gotten from him over the years.

The detail of his black and whites always fascinated me. He was especially a welcome sight to be added to "The Stand" re-release. Just an amazing artist.

The Gong Show was the finest thing that ever graced the airwaves. Thank you Chuckie Chuckie Chuckie...

I will be wearing my Paper Bag at half mast today...

THIS! It made me truly happy whenever he danced along with Gene Gene. He was sooooo entertaining, and although he was quite successful, he never got the credit he deserved. The man was a genius.

Ladies and gentlemen...MY DADDY!!!!

And let's not forget that Chuckie was a huge fan of our favorite LA hockey team (and only hockey team at the time). He was only guy on the airwaves - at least that I ever saw - wearing a Kings jersey other then the Kings themselves ...

In his defense, he was drunk most of the time.:48smile:
