I've always felt that American Girl is the #1 dive bar jukebox song of all time.

Inspired by Salty Dog (and kept your jam at #1) but dedicated to everyone who feels like going to a dive bar and drinking the soul out of the rest of the evening. Whew! Today was a rough one.

Top 5 dive bar jukebox songs
1. American Girl - Tom Petty
2. All of Me - Billie Holiday
3. Voodoo Child- Jimi Hendrix
4. Fa-Fa-Fa-Fa-Fa (Sad Song)- Otis Redding
5. Fly Me to the Moon- Frank Sinatra

Dive bar of choice: Footsies Bar (in highland park on fig)

Add Gimmie Shelter and any of Skynyrd, CSNY, Allman Brothers or the Lizard King to that list, and you're on to something.

islands in the stream is my go to jukebox track

PS - RIP Tom if you're dead already, Last Dance With Mary Jane if you're not \m/
