The REAL Fleetwood Mac wasn't the same after Danny Kirwan's firing... Fleetwood Muck took over when three of the founding members quit (or fired in Danny's case)... He was among the greatest guitar players who ever lived...

I had Danny's country album...but grew up listening to an uncle's earlier selection of LPs by FM before they completely lost their British roots...

Gennady Rozhdestvensky...one of Russia's best conductors passed on at 87...

He had a knack for picking up blacklisted music and bringing them to our ears... One rare exception is an autographed LP set of Bruckner's Symphonies 0 and 00 that is in my collection... Shostakovich's The Nose was well up those of the censors...as well as his 4th symphony... He debuted Prokofiev's operas The Gambler and the first completed version of War and Peace...
