[Alleged] Dastardly Deeds Thread

Am I the only one even FURTHER creeped out by his 'matter-of-fact' admission? I mean, he asked if it was alright...seriously? There is a level of sociopathy there that I can't even comprehend.

Also notice that while admitting he caused harm, he never actually apologized to his victims.

Well, it does smack of "desperately trying to salvage my career" just a tiiiiiiiny little bit. But I am endeavoring to be less cynical.

I don't know if Hollywood can totally eliminate freaky perverted behavior. But it needs to clean up it's act, especially when it comes to abuses of power. It feels like now every bit of dirty laundry is being aired and it will probably get worse before it gets better. It sucks when it's someone you like, like Louis CK. I hope his career isn't over because of this. But he needs to get himself straightened out & cut all this out. There also needs to be some difference between the types of behavior people are being accused of. Sending obscene texts is of course wrong but it's nowhere close to rape. And I want to leave politics out of it, but Alabama can't seriously be thinking of voting for a pedophile for Senate can they?

Tonmorrow should be an interesting morning on the old Howard Stern show. George, who is the announcer for life on Howard's show, had this exchange a few weeks ago(in C_ _ _tober, no less) and even one of the callers commented on how Howard and Robin tried desperately to get George to 'walk back' his exceptionally creepy statement. And he refused. Also, Howard is constantly saying how he has a budding friendship with Louis C.K., so we will see if he even addresses the comedian's situation.
