[Alleged] Dastardly Deeds Thread

I have been picking up on other boards talk of a possible boycott of future Disney Marvel movies if they don't reverse their firing of James Gunn.
Next one up is Captain Marvel in March of 2019 which Disney is counting on to expand into the next stage of movies.
 
Chris Hardwick Will Return to AMC as ‘Talking Dead’ Host

AMC released a full statement [via THR], noting Hardwick would resume his role on the Talking Dead after-shows as well as Talking With Chris Hardwick:

“Following a comprehensive assessment by AMC, working with Ivy Kagan Bierman of the firm Loeb & Loeb, who has considerable experience in this area, Chris Hardwick will return to AMC as the host of Talking Dead and Talking With Chris Hardwick. We take these matters very seriously and given the information available to us after a very careful review, including interviews with numerous individuals, we believe returning Chris to work is the appropriate step.”

"I have been adamant since I came forward with my essay that I never set out to ruin the career of the person I spoke about. I could have provided more details, but chose not to," Dykstra wrote. "I have said what I wanted to say on the matter, and I wish to move on with my life. For that reason, I chose not to participate in the investigation against the person I spoke of. I do not believe in an eye for an eye, and therefore I have only shared my evidence with those who I felt should see it."

I will do what Im legally obligated to do but @Guardians without @JamesGunn is not what I signed up for. GOTG w/o @JamesGunn just isn’t GOTG. Its also pretty nauseating to work for someone who’d empower a smear campaign by fascists #cybernazis . That’s just how I feel.

Look, y'all know I am a fan of the franchise. So it pains me to say that Disney is being hypocritical. If you are going to **** my beloved Guardians franchise...well, you have to be consistent. I still have my questions about the legitimacy of Amber Heard's claims, but if you are going to be zero tolerance...well, you can't pick and choose.
