I finally was convinced to get MoviePass a month ago. So was going to see Ant-Man last night. Peak Pricing has started. For a 8:05 movie in which only THREE SEATS WERE TAKEN as of 7:40, it was a $5.19 peak surcharge. Checked three other theaters in my area, all had peak pricing surcharges for other movies too, such as Hotel Transylvania 3, First Purge, Skyscraper, Equalizer 2, Sicario 2. Also similar in open seats. $5 surcharges on a thursday night, for empty theaters?? May try again Monday or Tuesday night to see if similar situation, but seriously **** that.

I went to go tonight and every movie released since last Friday had peak pricing for the next two showings tonight. I did go and see Skyscraper last night without issue (avoid that garbage BTW).
