***Alt Music Thread***

The sublime "Ghost Star" from OMDs new Punishment of Luxury album. The last 2 albums have gone way back to their early 80s roots but with an updated sound. Saw them a few weeks ago at the House of Blues Anaheim and they did not disappoint.

 
Another one that's a couple of years old, they opened up for Depeche Mode at the bowl a few months back.

 
Three great tracks from the amazing New Order "Music Complete" album. No way I thought they had this great album in them all these years later.





 
Throbbing Gristle will always be help set the mood music for me. Maybe, that's what I am doing wrong. :eyebrows:

 
Brothertiger doing a couple more covers of 80's classics. Really like them both, stays true to the originals while still making his own mark.



 
So just discovered this band. Hooked the first time I heard this song.

Black Pistol Fire, and evidently they are red hot right now. From Toronto but from what I have head they are now in Austin TX. Sorta like the Black Keys, as you see will in the live vid, but a lot tougher.

So as I do, the official music vid and then a live one. And tell me if I am wrong, is not the drummer the human version of Animal from the Muppets? So here ya go!
