Sorry Brown didn’t announce his retirement, him and getzlaf on the same night would have been cool.
 
Really nice to see Brown, Kopi and Quick showing Getz some respect there. I was able to enjoy that 100% more because Perry is already gone.
 
Hopefully Brown does the right thing and retres after our playoff run!He's been a great King,but it's time.
 
We'll get them back next year for sure. The ducks are just pissed that they are not going to the playoffs.
 
what the heck was the deal with all the penalties at the end there, lol?? First there are 3 guys in the box (Grunstrom, Zegras, and another Duck) which somehow resulted in 5 on 5 play. Then that whole fiasco with 5 seconds left?? Were the refs just making up rules??

(they never announced the penalties for the first one I mentioned - we were all so confused)

Yes, where they found a slashing penalty on Grundstr?m is beyond me. And how both the referees and Toronto missed the obvious stick over the mouth on Kaliyev in the last scrum is also terrible.

But GKG, we can almost smell the playoffs now!!!

Awesome win!!!! We are so close I can taste it. The way the Kings have been playing, they're dong whatever it takes to win. I had to laugh at the end with Getzlaf gooning it up & then shaking everyone's hand a few seconds later. I guess I 'm OK with honoring him in his final game at the Crypt. But thankfully Cory Perry left because I can't see honoring that rat face. Anyway, Go Sharks & Go Kings Go!

That's what I was wondering when I saw the replay. If he does get fined and suspended, hopefully it's only for 1 game. A multi-game suspension would hurt.

I'm just glad we can all laugh about Quicks gaffe, kings looked significantly better than on Tuesday. Two more to go but that's just the prep work for the real job boys.

I watch a lot of other teams, and I can say, without reservation, that Kopitar is one of the three worst power-play quarterbacks in the league. And it is never more evident than when the Kings have a 5-on-3.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of what he has done for the Kings over the course of his career. But this aspect of his game has gone into the depths of the Andy Gump.
