My quest worked! He ended up with 6:55 TOII'm going to make it my new mission to Set Sammy Free!! 3:38 TOI.... How will he ever improve with 3:38 of ice time?? Especially in a lopsided game
More like frustrating. Flashes of greatness washed away by waves of why-can't-you-use-your-size and just general weak plays.I haven't been able to watch much of this season so far, so what are everyone's thoughts on QB so far? Disappointing?
Has he ever NOT been a disaster on a 2-on-1?Byfield was a total disaster on that two-on-one.
To be fair, he looked good on that 2-1 Doughty goal. First in a long timeHas he ever NOT been a disaster on a 2-on-1?

Yep, no thinking involved. He was on his back hand side, and HAD to get it through to Drew.To be fair, he looked good on that 2-1 Doughty goal. First in a long time
Yes, although I am sorely disappointed that in the waning half of the 3rd period, Helenius wasn’t sent out to deliver a message to Kreider. ‘The message’ would have been equally well received going after a guy like Trouba, as well, if Kreider wasn’t available for ‘discussion’.My quest worked! Haha, he seems like a disaster more often than not. He didn't even make an attempt to put his shoulder down and drive the next. It was a 2-on-1 where he was clearly going to pass and the defense didn't have to make any effort covering a QB shot.Has he ever NOT been a disaster on a 2-on-1?
The arena was like 30-40% empty at the end. It seemed on TV like a LOT of Ducks fans drove up to the game yesterday. Was great to finally be at a game where the Kings dominated and scored a few goals. Crowd was into it and we had a whole row of Ducks fans behind us that left around the start of the third.
The problem I see is that he will try to drive the net but he tries it by splitting the D and that usually ends up with him losing the puck. Alternatively, when he goes wide he usually gets trapped on the boards and also ends up with him losing the puck. And, we all know what happens when he is leading on an out-numbered attack.Haha, he seems like a disaster more often than not. Maybe if he was elderly like Kopitar, it would make sense that the odds of driving the net are low. But QB is young, big, and fast. He should drive the goal sometimes.
Plays like that are exactly why Nyssa's use of FRUSTRATING is the perfect adjective. QB creates tons of chances with his skills but then squanders many of them with poor decision making.
That said, he had one of his better games in a while. He made some nice plays in addition to the frustrating ones.
There were a lot but not as many as I originally thought. I think a lot of Kings fans beat the traffic out as well. The arena was like 30-40% empty at the end. It seemed on TV like a LOT of Ducks fans drove up to the game yesterday.
