That is a very definitive description of one of the issues with Byfield. He’s a big strong forward that should be going to the net and drawing defenders and making passes off of that instead of coasting the sideline looking for a magical pass. It is very reminiscent of the complaints we had about Kopitars game in his later years.

Wow, I hadn’t even heard Foxy’s comments. If the Kings are hiring on the coaching staff or broadcast booth . . .

I’m sure Hiller is telling the team good first period during the break. But reinforcing going forward we need to get back to the system. This isn’t our identity. We need to get back to holding the puck along the boards and playing absolutely no offense.

Returning back to Hiller coached hockey as you mentioned VCRW.I wouldn’t be surprised,if the Ducks tie the game at 4-4 and win in OT.
