***Arizona Coyotes vs. LA Kings GDT 2/18/22 7:30pm on BSW***

Bottom line everyone else won their games, two points critical no matter how we got them. Forget the game are the points and move on to the Wild on Tuesday

Quick ties Barasso and Rinne with 369 wins. 3-way tie for 19th. 370 might be tough to get though.

A rollercoaster ride that quickly became a dumpster fire, but I’m glad that Quick got another W on his record.

Same. His current play leaves something to be desired but I'm ecstatic that Quick is the 3rd winningest American goalie along with Barasso.

Where is Stolly?

I've noticed they kind of switch out for 10-15 games at a time. I enjoy Stolly with Patrick. Army's a bit tough to watch. Last I saw Stolly he was partying with the cup with Greene and Browny so who knows what Hangover sequel they're all working on.

Good teams pull out wins from these type of trainwreck games. It was ugly but two points are all that matter right now.

I can't believe we blew a 4 goal lead. And I can't believe we won & that I'm fine with the win. Not happy but fine. Maybe a 5-1 lead after the 1st isn't the best thing. I'm glad Quick got the win despite not being his greatest performance. On to Minnesota.

Not the way you want to win, I suppose, but any win for Quick is something right now. That powerplay goal where he went down on a fake shot and then was just waaaay out of position tells you everything about him. He's so lost. That is NEVER something you would see Quick do in the past. Yes, he could get faked out, but he'd be killing himself to get over for the save. He just kinda watched it. Feel for him, because he's losing the mental part of the game for sure. I'm not even totally convinced he's lost the physical aspect of the game, he seems to be a different player mentally - guess they can go hand in hand. Anyway, glad he got the win - two in a row, maybe it builds him up a bit. This is Copley's team for sure right now, would just be nice to know we have an option should anything happen.

And I'm sure if I go through the thread, it's been said (didn't watch live,) but... if collapses like that aren't what timeouts are for, then what are they for?

With another back to back scheduled against the Devils then the Islanders, do you put Quick in goal against the 77 point Devils, or the 63 point Islanders? Will probably lose against the Devils, but if Quick is in against the 63 point Islanders, that's another scheduled loss. So I say play Quick against the Devils. It is so sad when I feel I don't ever want to see Quick in goal again. It's heartbreaking.

Tail end of being sick so fell asleep 1st intermission. Woke up in disgust to see it was 5-5. Nodded out again after a few minutes and missed the rest.

Even up 5-1 early I had moments watching that took me back to the beginning of the season where it felt like any given shot could burn you. Even though Quick made some big saves, it felt precarious. Sounds like this collapse was team-wide though. Guessing Toby still isn’t impressing much?

Relieved with the big 2 points. Coyotes’ point streak continues also.

Congratulations, you got the score right.

My sentiments exactly. Not sure why TM is so scared to call timeout when clearly the momentum (and score) shift. We have seen this quite a few times this season. The Carolina game was the last one. I believe AF said 8 blown 3rd period leads this season. You take a timeout that may deflate the momentum and who knows maybe we win 3 or 4 of those.

Didn't see it mentioned, Vilardi's SO goal was perfection, against the guy who was stopping everything the Kings threw at him. Quick makes a sprawling stick shaft save :shocked2:, then Kempe finishes it off.

Guess it's normal to downshift a bit with 4 goal lead, but the Kings seemed to throw it in reverse.

Hope those 5 Shoot Out wins don't become a RW/ROW problem if this race stays tight all the way and tie-breakers come into play.
