You mean like replacing Burroughs?I sure hope bringing him back doesn't have a negative affect on the successful defensive chemistry the Kings are currently enjoying.
I don’t mind Edmundson playing more like 15 minutes a night as opposed to 20 either, Moverare getting more than the 3 minutes Burroughs is plugging in.You mean like replacing Burroughs?
Oh stop. The right thing to do is trade him. I am not sure he actually will make this team.
Agreed!Oh stop.
He had back-to-back 50-point seasons. He will make this team better. I don't get the negativity towards him but it's not really surprising on this forum. Folks wanted to run Kopi out of town a few years ago as well.Agreed!
I’ve heard several ”experts” saying he would have been a lock for team Canada in the 4 Nations if he was back playing at the end of January, here at LGK people talk about if his return is a good thing or not…
Plus, he’ll only be playing half a season, so he’ll be fresh and in mid-season form when the playoffs start. He had back-to-back 50-point seasons. He will make this team better. There is merit to this thinking. I'm as big a Drew guy as anyone else but the Kings are top 5 in team D and guys like Clarke are getting really important minutes. It sounds ridiculous to be nervous about adding an all -star experienced veteran to your line up...but the pairings will change....pairings that have developed excellent chemistry in Hiller's system...and along comes the biggest personality (cough-ego-cough) on the team. Would anyone really be shocked to see the Kings slide defensively a bit after DD's return? I predict it.I sure hope bringing him back doesn't have a negative affect on the successful defensive chemistry the Kings are currently enjoying.
