I am into all the PLD Nyuks right now because it's the offseason and I am bored, but he'll be behind the rear window mirror for me as soon as the regular season starts. It helps to move forward and such.

I had serious doubts about him working out with the Kings and still with him working out with capitols. He has talent but he doesn't have the will or heart to play the game.

Just imagine if he had the heart and hustle of a Blake Lizotte.

the best play PLD has ever made was getting someone to pay him $8.5M x 8. he seems as dumbfounded as the rest of us about how that could have happened given he has to be given "clear instructions" on what to do. he brings it up with whoever will listen.

I have no idea how a guy like that got "this far" in the league (money wise). I don't think I was gonna watch this year if he was still on the team, bringing down all the young players - totally useless - him getting traded was the only Kings news I needed this summer, well that's a lie because BLuc getting canned would have been better but oh well.

What makes you think that he will excel because of a different defense system? I'd figure he should be more effective (or rather less detrimental) in a D system that requires less effort...

I’ve no proof of this, just my feeling that he would be a more effective player in a more offense-oriented system. He doesn’t seem to do well with structure LOL.
