The rest of the team got a golfing break and now quickly want to go back on the field for the rest of the spring/summer.

He will be gone, however, most likely at the end of the season. The team knew they were hanging on by a thread when Keumper was keeping them in every game and taking them into OT. Once Keumper got nicked up and could not carry the team anymore, it was over as the Kings were exposed.

Right now the Los Angeles Kings are the ultimate cluster f*ck of an organization, from top to bottom, and everywhere in-between.
