GDT ***Edmonton Oilers vs. Los Angeles Kings GDT 2/26/26 7:30pm on ESPN***

Hiller will get fired most likely after the season, however they still have the same players, unless Holland sells, and why would he, he has only two years left.

Even in the worst games, there’s usually one guy that might stand up tonight absolutely nobody after admittedly embarrassing night last night. There’s no professional attitude here at all.

The Kings have become the Washington Generals playing the Edmonton Globetrotters. Just a bunch of patsies… so far out of their league.

I'm not going to keep beating this one into the dirt, cuz I've already made my point crystal clear. But I hate hate HATE the Olympic break, and not just because I'm not a big Olympic fan and really don't watch the Olympics at all.

I just hate the fact my star players can get hurt (which one did). And any momentum the team had, along with any chemistry, is affected so hard by that lengthy break.

I don't like it and I never will

Not that the Kings had any momentum or chemistry before the break, but I certainly agree in general. Not to mention, "now that we have dream teams, we don't have a chance to dream" - Kurt Russell, "Miracle", 2004.

I kind of agree with what you are saying. However, the Kings were gaining momentum in the loss column, and from what I can see they have not missed a beat.

If this game ends the way we all figure it will, it will mean the Kings will be 1-5 since Kopi came back from injury. That one win was an OT win in Philly.

The 'momentum and chemistry' thing was not necessarily related to the Kings. It was more of a general statement.

But my #1 fear was always a player getting injured. I had no idea Fiala was injured since I don't pay much attention to the Olympics. When I found out, it was like my worst fears were realized. And I'm very angry about it.

I just don't like it.

How can you not watch Olympic hockey? It's pretty much the best hockey you'll ever get to see. Watching the Kings after that is like walking out of the Sistine Chapel and stepping in a fresh, steaming pile of dog sh*t.

Luckily for the Kings they went into the Olympic break on a 3 game losing streak so they are continuing their losing ways. The olympic break actually kept the Kings from losing for about 3 weeks.
