With that contract and the fact that the Kings suck hard, Bread will most likely waive his NMC to go to a good team next year, and Holland can get a bunch of young prospects/high picks for him.

Agreed if he scores goals. Then you get a decent return. The Kings and Rangers are equal. He scored 19 for them. He went from one bad team to another. Didn't make sense.

This season is over. Do you want Forsberg back next year? First goalie move should definitely be trading Kuemper. Until that happens I would hope to see Portillo get a long look. Guess they could keep 3 goalies on the roster but that would take away a roster spot that should be better used in auditioning the skaters in Ontario. What would Forsberg bring in trade? 3rd rounder at best? The guy is good one game then horrible the next. The roster spot has more value than an erratic goaltender.

Keumper has lost a ton of value and that is a shame. Two months ago he would have started for the Canadian Olympic team. Two months later he didn't get a sniff. He kept the Kings in the race for as long as he could.

I'm terrified what the Kings will do. How many draft picks and/or prospects are they going to give up now? If they do, I've said it before, they are wasting their time. No core here...time to punt.

I can't possibly understand any moves made other than to start the long needed rebuild. Doing a hail mary simply to make the playoffs sounds totally insane but... I have no faith.

Anyway, I keep checking my phone to see if there’s an alert to say the Kings have fired Jim Hiller. So far I’ve been disappointed.

How could you fall asleep during a game like this? I was watching the whole thing, seething in anger.
