FA 2025 (lets get the discussions in one thread)

I'm not sure I know that, but maybe I'm not as clued in as everyone else. Didn't Holland say a bunch of times it wasn't about term, it was about dollars, and they offered more a couple times? If it was only about term, and Holland said term wasn't the issue, he's either an idiot or a liar.

Edit: An article from last week said they were prepared to offer a long term deal. Blake offered it, Holland extended it, so maybe I'm wrong and they weren't offering a full seven or eight years.
Holland said term wasn't the issue originally, it was dollars. Kings then made a follow up/last ditch offer which wasn't good enough for whatever reason.

I can't stand him but he's exactly the kind of grit you want on the 4th line.
I always hated him, but I do not really know him, so........ That being said, he is a King now and I am ok with that. Could be worse.

I am looking forward to him influencing (in a good way) our young players. Laf can learn a few tricks from Perry.

He's good buddies with Dewey for what it's worth. I've heard many players say he's a great friend off the ice, but on the ice is a different thing.

Last week I guessed 5 years @ 4M for Ceci. I had no clue we’d be in on Dumoulin. Crazy.

So Ceci and Dumoulin? This is why I don’t like the Spence thing. Are they significant upgrades? I’m fine with Spence going but maybe waiting a couple of days they may have reconsidered.
