The Kings will not be able to trade him so even if he is able to come back, the playoffs are out of the question. I just hope he will be ready by the start of next season.

Yeah I agree. Announcement was specific about regular season and a re-evaluation. Don’t see how he could be ready in that event.
I do know he had a broken leg in playoffs with Nashville and took him a season or two to get back to normal.

I broke my tibia just above my ankle and had two screws put in because my leg twisted during the break, so it was going to heal crookedly without surgery. No ligament damage. Crutches for 12 weeks, no weight bearing for 6 of them. Hopefully this is something just like that. Sounds like it could be.
