Fire coach!

Any replacement coach will do for the Kings at this point. Todd hasn't learned from his mistakes since 2014 and he's too stubborn to admit it. Other teams have known his coaching methods for years now and Todd still hasn't gotten the memo. Blake, it's time to stop making excuses and start making some much needed moves.

I brought a buddy to the Jets game that had never been to Staples/Crypt, he bought something called the Downtown Dog and said it was easily the worst $10.00 hot dog he's ever consumed. I didn't believe him, so I had one after the second period...yuck.

All other local sports venues are improving their food quality; the Crypt downgraded their quality.

I'll stop the rant right there. The last time I went off on the Crypt's new management, it led to a thread where I ended up getting banned.

I miss the old Staples...

I don't see anything happening until after the road trip; unfortunately, the road trip will end with a 10 game losing streak, and the Kings will be out of third place.

This team is managed poorly; it's obvious to us fans that Kopi is injured or something else is wrong, but there he is, out there every game playing the same minutes he's been for years, but he isn't "Kopi." And bringing up Clarke I agree does not make any sense at all. Playing JAD doesn't make sense either, unless they are just showcasing him for a trade (good luck with that).

You're probably right.

But If you would have told me 2 months ago the Kings would go on an 8-losing streak I wouldn't have believed you. So at this point nothing would surprise me.

Cyrpt food, Staples Food...it's always kinda sucked. They brought in that Ludo Bird and I was hopefully...it's chicken strips on a bun. Absolute garbage. We don't generally eat in the arena, I strongly suggest Craft by Smoke and Fire which recently opened up. Lazy Dog isn't bad either. Lots of better values outside the arena.

El Chollo is a decent meal. Walking distance and parking next door

Ok you fire the coach. Now what? What exactly do you expect a coach to accomplish that Todd can't? And how does he do that?
No, it’s not a miraculous quick-fix! But at the same time, other coaches wins the SC and Todd’s track record unfortunally indicates that he can’t take his team to the ultimate goal…

To me it’s pretty obvious that he can’t get this ship back on the right track. And if Blake comes to the same conclusion, there is no other ”solution” given our cap situation.

There is no trade possible that will save this season. And if you don’t want to just give up and raise the white flag, fire the coach is the only thing to do. I don’t like it either, but what’s your solution?

Homie, you walk ten feet outside Staples for a good hot dog. Never eat inside.

It’s often just a case of different personality delivering a more coherent or believable message in a way that inspires confidence and creates agreement in the way to achieve the goal. The hope is that a new voice will be heard because the old voice has become like the adult trombone voices in a Peanuts cartoon.

LOL!

We were literally 5 ft outside Staples/Crypt when we bought a bacon-wrapped hot dog that was f****** delicious!

I always eat something on the way back to my "secret" parking lot when I leave Staples Center.

It used to be Tortas, but now they're all cooking up bacon-wrapped hot dogs covered in peppers and onions which is the best thing to kill a hangover...

... unless you're near a Tommy's, of course, because everyone knows if you've been out drinking the number one way to wake up in the morning feeling fine....and not in jail...is to eat a Tommy's Chili Burger on the way home.

It saved me many times. It's literally a DUI killer.

anyone that doesn't think Vegas wouldn't fire Cassidy in a hot second if they thought it would improve their chances to repeat is a fool. That organization has made it clear from day 1 what they value and everyone there seems to be on board with it.

As for Blake, available options include
Berube
Colliton
Evason
Gallant
Granato (if health allows)
Sturm
Sutter
Woodcroft

I don't think he'd go as far back as Hartley and try and pull him back from the KHL. The other clues would have to be from his time in the Hockey Canada which is where I believe he met Willie D and became a fan of his. Personally if you think the Toddfather should be out, get ready for Coach Sturm since that's the most likely scenario. There's no chance that Wroblewski or Stothers could be on the table.
