Goodbye Silver Jerseys...at least for this season. New third jersey on the way

The color scheme is great, but the problem with those jerseys has always been that the logo looks like it was made in MS Paint by a six-year-old. The only good thing about that logo is nostalgia. Not to mention that having a crown as a logo is kinda stupid in the first place. Royalty wore crowns but their symbols have never been crowns. Stylized eagles and lions, usually. I would love to see a jersey similar to the new Finland jersey as at least as a third (in Kings colors, obviously).

You know they'd just put sunglasses on the lion, right? It would take the regalness out of the lion statement.
Personally, I'd like an updated version of this album cover somehow...come on bored Art Center grad, let's see it. =)

Yes, that was worded completely ****ty, came back to re-word and apologize. My fault. And anyone who was lucky enough to go to Art Center, you're awesome and if you "humored" the dork typing and created something Kings related, it would be appreciated, not mocked (despite my last twelve million posts here).

Stoll just admitted on the pregame that he's gotten some pretty mixed feedback from former teammates on the new jerseys, in particular the chrome helmets. Lol.

So, it's not just you guys.
 
Still don't have a problem with the jerseys or helmets. Only wearing them 15 games, big deal. What I do have a problem with is Team LA telling me my jersey would ship in 2-4 days and nothing has shipped 11 days later.

They are getting worse with age. I think sometimes the Kings brass should pull a George Costanza when it comes to the jerseys-- just do the opposite of what you think is the correct move and you'll succeed.

Cant we all just get along and love the purple and gold of old. The Raiders left here a long time ago
 
In case anyone has ordered the new jersey from Team LA, I just hit the 30 day ship date and checked on my order...

"We are experiencing longer than normal delays with our decorating company in getting the numbers/letters sent to use on the jerseys. We are working diligently with the decorating company to get he issue resolve....As is stands the jersey will not arrive in time for New Year's."

So don't expect the jersey anytime soon. FYI, NHL shop/Fanatics will ship within 2 days. Never again team LA, never again.

That sucks. I hope for your sake that Bobcat is doing the lettering for Team LA and Fanatics is their usual crap. The only way to make the wait tolerable would be if the numbering is awesomely done.
Unfortunately this just feels like another failure from the Kings org this year. :(
 
On NHL Radio this morning, Boomer was mocking the chrome helmets again... right before interviewing Hoven.

Thank you, Boomer. They are truly horrid.

He called the helmets, "tin foil hats." LOL Boomer loves mocking them and the Vegas golden domes.

I have heard that NHL shop is also doing multi-layer lettering for Primegreen

I still don't have a problem with them, they look fine (to my eyes) with the jerseys. That being said, having seen the Henderson team wear their silver buckets last night vs the Reign, I can understand why the Kings chose not to wear them with the silver/gray jerseys. They really don't work together. As for the Reign, that was an abyssmal game. They were horrendous in every facet of the game. Byfield's first game back, he really should stay down there for a couple week and get his game on track.
 
Ugly helmets and gloves. White helmets, black gloves, jersies are fine. Although, I do like the early 2000s jersies. They should go back to something like that.
 
I bet there was a conversation somewhere, and these words came out of Luc's mouth: "Chrome helmets, nice! No color in the jersey, excellent!......So can we add white pants to this uniform ensemble?"

Got the jersey from NHL shop and it is not the cheap stuff they used on the RR. It is multi-layer, looks fantastic.
