Goodbye Silver Jerseys...at least for this season. New third jersey on the way

latest round of mock ups for next season's RR 2.0 I'm partial to the crown versions in each of the two posts below. The shields just don't work IMO

American Apparel could still use some good press. Although they?d turn all the jerseys into onesies.

I've wanted to express this for so long, thank you Cliff for the opportunity. Ahem!
American Apparel looks like clothes runaways wear two days before turning tricks.
[Whew! I feel so much better that joke had nowhere to go] No judgment, it's a total "look" and kudos for them on capitalizing on it.

I like the crown... never a fan of home plate. But I would do more of a hybrid.... silver/black with purple/gold (actual gold, not bright yellow). Even if only the crown was purple/gold it would 10x better than no color at all.

Liking those recent mock-ups, and I agree about the shield/home-plate, I'm not feeling it. I know its also part of the history of their logo/branding but to me it feels too boxed in and uncomfortable with all the sharp angles on it, the crown just flows better.

Not a fan of the black here. My goal for this would be to steer clear of all existing colors.

Fair enough. But our uniforms are now Black/Silver and my goal would be to add a splash of original color, not go back to original colors.

You have taken this in a direction I could never see coming, and now I can’t unsee it. I think something about the sickly, washed out photo shoots may have something to do with, um, your take on this also.

Right? Oof. Now trying living with the brain that thinks that's hilarious.

I did have a question about the person who clowned the crotch snaps, since I've never worn hockey gear, isn't that just a "fight strap"? Do jereys still have that? Like for sure Beukeboom was pictured with it hanging out, circa 1994(?).

I bet there was a conversation somewhere, and these words came out of Luc's mouth: "Chrome helmets, nice! No color in the jersey, excellent!......So can we add white pants to this uniform ensemble?"

Next thing he's going to do is add white skates to boot... When in doubt...go all in in the Charlie O'Finley look...

These t-shirts, now taken down by NHL shop and Fanatics, are rumored to show the color scheme and logo that will appear on this years RR. This aligns with what Hoven has shared.

I HATE yellow. Besides, lots of teams have yellow jerseys - NSH, BOS, PIT etc why go with ugly color just to have color?
