Thanks!Fiala's skating again, not sure what the timetable is for his return.
No idea about Kuzmenko, who had surgery on a torn meniscus. At the time, he was listed as "week to week". Looking on Google, the recovery time for that is 4-6 weeks (trimming) or 3-6 months (stitching). We're already at the 6 week mark since the surgery, so I guess we'll find out soon enough.
Thanks!Towards the end of the Kings watch-along of last nights game Patrick O’Neil said both of them were on the ice recently. Just skating I think, not practicing.
Well, at the 1:36-1:38 point of this video the Kings posted last night, Fiala is shown working out with no brace on his leg, so I'm assuming it's recent footage to inspire us.

You aren’t going to beat the Avs with defense. If the Kings hope to have any shot at winning the series they need every offensive player available.
This is the actual gameplan but it’s more like win 4-3.Damn the torpedos! Bring back the early 90s, and let’s win Game 1 7-6!
I'm not sure there is a plausible plan with this roster going up against a team with a No.1 offense and a No. 1 defense. This is the actual gameplan but it’s more like win 4-3.
It won’t work but at least it’s a plausible scenario. Hiller’s 2-1 gameplan isn’t even remotely plausible against a team like the Avs with this Kings roster.

Even though I liked how they played, I'd still bring in Kuzy for game 2. We need all the offense we can get. I don't know if I'd put him on the 2nd or 3rd line & who moves down. Moore could go to the 3rd or Armia or Wright could go to the 4th. But I would drop Joseph out of the lineup.
