How Long Can Management Go Without Being Held Accountable?

It's time to abandon strategy and go to the most basic strategy on the pp.
Have Drew and Edmondson bomb away from the point and just crash the net.

We are so defensively structured that the offensive instincts of our most talented players
are stifled.

Blake insists on this style of play. Well, what has it accomplished when it matters?
Jack squat.

Zero reason for him to sacrifice any considerable assets for offense if they won't let them play
offense.

Time for him to go.

With another loss last night, the Oilers appear willing to just hand over home ice in the 1st round to the Kings. Yet the Kings aren’t taking it. If they want to be taken seriously as contenders, they need serious players who recognize the situation before them and take advantage, but they continue to fall short. Is that on Blake? Or is this a leadership issue?

If you look at the three teams at the top of the Pacific (VGK, EDM, LA) none have been playing well since the New Year. Vegas has played slightly better than the others but they’ve been nothing to write home about.
I believe teams are struggling with focus right now. They are thinking they are safely in the playoffs, playing out the schedule.

The Kings just had their last tough road-trip. And they are also dealing with the annual anxiety of the trade deadline with certain players concerned about whether they will still be here in a week.

Hopefully the deadline passing and the home schedule can get things back on track. But this slump is not unique to the Kings.
