It’s really difficult to hate on this team. Does it need to get better? Of course, it does if the goal is to win the Cup. But they are pretty damn good now and mostly a whole lot of fun to watch.

I believe PLD will be fine. Habitual slow starter like Fiala. His game is getting better every shift he plays these days.

I have been one of Byfiield's staunchest supporters since he was drafted, but I certainly admit to expressing some impatience with QB’s pace of development after a “Meh!” training camp. But his play jumped level appreciably after the start of the regular season and we’ve seen everything I had been hoping to see from QB, and more! Go #55!

My remaining concern is about what happens when Arvy comes back. Everything I have read indicates the Kings will not be trading him. If he does return in February as has been mentioned, then do the Kings go back into a salary crunch? If so, and you have to choose between keeping Laferriere or Arty in the lineup, who do you choose? For me, it’s an easy choice. #78 plays. #34 sits. I think the Kings are a better team overall with Laf on the ice. Kaliyev's occasional goals just aren't enough to excuse the weaker parts of his game.

And... will JAD have to go through waivers again when there is no longer room under the cap?

Not really sure what’s so Drama Queen about telling it as it is? ;-)

But yes, I wanted to make fun about us Kings fan here and that include myself! If we loose two games in row I’m screaming at the TV for McLellan to be fired or for Blake to trade everyone on the team not named Byfield…

No offense meant, but if you re-read your post, it is a tad bit melodramatic.

LGK is no different than any other fan forum in all sports. Take the 49ers official fan forum. San Francisco has the number one team in the NFL...yet after they lost three games, it was officially The End of the World. Some of those posts were hilarious. I wouldn't be surprised if SFPD needed extra patrols on the Golden Gate because some of those clowns were sub-suicidal. Now that their team is back on track, it's all sunny skies and wine and roses. Sometimes you just have to laugh.

But it's what passionate fans do. And one of the reasons why these message boards exist.

As for our beloved Kings...we're definitely in a funk right now. It happens. We'll snap out of it.

We must be watching 2 different teams. I cringe when PLD hits the ice and figure skates around.

I too, hope this will change soon.
