IR is gettin' crowded. AA now, retroactive to 3/10; 3/13 - add DD, Brown

Reminds me of the 2003 season. 50% of the team was injured and Andy had to put a patchwork AHL lineup together most nights. Sad. Team was really rolling after that last road trip.

Totally remember that along with the calls for Murray's head and the conditioning staff as well. The Kings set some kind of record for man hours lost right?

Yup. That was the only comparable season I could recollect for guys on IR.

Yes, was over 500 man games lost that season. Don’t have the exact number in front of me, but I recollect it was like 536.

On the bright side, the Duc*s are DOA, and Vegas is really struggling.

Its time for Kopitar to switch to D and use those Selke skills. Not like he's scoring anyway.

The good news is, if teams did not scout the Reign, they won't know the Kings tendencies.

I thought knee when I saw the replay but it sounded like he was ready to go back in if needed so maybe not too bad?

there was a replay showing his ankle getting bent outwards a bit on the initial tangle up and fall. Could have been a knee too though. Just hope he's ok, which sounds like it wasnt too bad if he was planning to come back in.

If I had to guess, after viewing the replays, I'd say an ankle. Whatever it is, we need him back ASAP.

I guess we will find out tomorrow. No news from the Kings today. Hopefully it is not too serious. If not, we'll be seeing more of Wolanin.

The long list of players on IR is depressing, I get it. But they are plugging in NHL caliber players as was shown last night. Spence, Kupari, Vilardi and Frk are all more than capable IMO.

Go Kings!!

Why is FRK not a permanent King? Every time I see him brought up he outperforms a few others.

Because hes one dimensional, only a scoring threat and a liability defensively--that said I'd rather have him out there than Brown.

Doesn’t seem right Frk got sent down after scoring a massive goal in the most unlikely win of the season. I get that he played less than 5 minutes but at least keep him up. He doesn’t have to be put in the lineup but a few more days of NHL pay would be a decent move.

Probably an object lesson for Arty, they for some reason don't want these players to do the thing they're good at on the ice.....

Was there further word on Roy for tonight yet? Just curious how day to day he really is or if his IR move is coming
