"Following Seravalli’s report, ESPN’s Kevin Weekes indicated that Parayko would prefer to stay in the Western Conference. Weekes specifically mentioned the Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings, though neither club has any known interest in adding another defenseman."

Yeah. Cause our defense is already rock solid. Got it.

Is this guy even much of an upgrade over Ceci, Dumo, or Eddy? Statistically speaking, not really. Seems to be cut from the same cloth as the 3 guys above, and definitely NOT what the Kings need more of. Shoulda drafted Lane Hutson when he fell into our lap, instead of drafting the -other- Jack Hughes. I still can’t believe the front office dummies didn’t take a lottery ticket on Hutson, instead opting to take a lottery ticket on Hughes..

Right - no upgrades needed. Honestly would think Ducks would easily give a better package anyway.

That’s what I thought. He blocked it.

And Sabres are finally good!

Ah, I see.

Ducks make sense. Kings? Why would he want to come here?

And Parayko only makes sense for the Kings if DD is gone and the Kings somehow manage to acquire a top 2/4 puck moving D-man, too, right? Is there any scenario where DD is traded (with a lot of salary retained) to a playoff team for a really good return and the Kings find said puck moving LD to pair with Parayko on the top pairing, which is about the only scenario I can see him being interested in coming to the Kings over the Ducks?

A definition of a very long shot scenario...

Leafs seem to be sellers...smart.

Parayko played well in the Olympics and Ceci is a low bar. Plus he’s 6’6” so, yeah?

Hutson’s draft was when Blake was still taking small and skilled players, so there’s a question as to why he passed on him, but of course a lot of teams did. He’s small. I could envision Hiller absolutely wasting that player.
