Happened during a Kings playoff game against Phoenix during 2012, in OT no less. The Phoenix goalie lost his glove during a scramble, yet play continued for a few seconds at least. The goalie, by the way? Mike Smith.

So a goalie without a glove, who can get his hand broken by a puck, is no reason to blow the whistle? The league needs to think about that one a little more.

I was legitimately concerned that someone was going to skate over his hand while he was making that last save in the sequence.
