Bump!

This is when this thread should have been started.

Would I trade Kempe after a 35 goal season? Damn right I would for the right stud LD.

Juice?s value may never be higher!

I wouldn't trade him. They need to add a top six forward, not trade one away; if you trade Kempe, you now need to add two! Where do you get two top-six forwards in one summer? Out of the frying pan and into the fire.

I am just skeptical that he will keep performing at this rate. If there is a trade to be made where we can swap forwards with another team then I would be all for it.

Need this season to end before thinking about this. Too annoyed with the team at the moment to have a clear, objective idea on what to do about Kempe.

Kempe would be outstanding in Tampa. Do you think they might give us Cernak back? lol...

I see keeping Iafallo on the first line as a far bigger problem then losing Juice.

I think Trevor Moore has actually become what we thought Iafallo would be. How 'bout 12-11-9 if Juice stays?

Regardless, Rob needs to target Forsberg... hard. Chromiak just could be that second forward moving up. That kid can score.

But any speculation is meaningless unless Chycrun for Kempe plus has actually happened.

That's the only deal I'd make. Otherwise you have to keep him.

Personally I would hate to lose Kempe and think the Kings need to do whatever they can to avoid it.

Totally agree that the Kings need to take a shot at Forsberg, maybe having his buddy on the team will help.

I agree on Chromiak but it feels like he still has a lot of distance to travel before we know what he'll look like at the NHL level. I also wonder how much Wright and Edmonds are inflating his stats.

Have you checked out Fagemo lately? He is developing into a stud and can score. At worst I see him on the Kings 3rd line next season and someone who is going to continue to develop into a top 6 role.

I agree Fagemo has come on strong this spring and is looking much more like he could be a factor at camp next fall.

Kempe sure proved me wrong. Got paid and produced to that level with 104 goals in 3 seasons. Would think he has real value if Kings go for a rebuild.

There isn’t a rebuild. Better classified as a re-tool. No reason to blow it up. Just have to hope the off-season moves work, whatever they are.

Oh rest assured: it's time to blow the whole thing up and start over. The quality of the on-ice product isn't high enough to keep butts in the seats. Salary cap notwithstanding, Doughty and Fiala's contracts are going to be big stinkers for the business if they aren't selling out every game. Sadly Blake doesn't see that. It's time to trade everybody older than Kempe.

Of course now that I've said this, I'm sure they'll win the cup this year under Hiller. Mark it, Dude.
