What a move, in between the legs then backhand pass to Mangiapane.
All I saw was Vilardi not scoring again....

When the Wings feel they got robbed and the Nucks fans are happy Edler and Troy band is back together, and it only cost us one zebra Popcoropolis, im happy.
Not really sure what he brings other than being a body, 16 games only 2 points (1g 1a) -6 and another RT shot dman who is 5'10" 184lbs
He's a fantastic skating all around defenseman who uses his agility speed and smarts to defend while his high-end stickwork contributes a little offense. He's not afraid to block shots or throw the body around when needed either...skills, character...I like this acquisition.
Here's Elite Prospects' blurb on him:
"Highly skilled two-way defenceman that displays tremendous poise with and without the puck. Soft hands that can pass as well as let rockets fly. Excellent vision and a playmaker's knack for the game. Very aware and responsible defensively, but is not comfortable having the puck in his own end for too long and will take it upon himself to get the puck out of the defensive zone. His impact upon the game occurs at both ends of the ice as an offensive and defensive force."
I hope your correct and he can rekindle his game back to what he was in Vancouver

Well, it's not like the Kings cup run chances for 2022 are revolving around this acquisition...it's a low cost, medium reward type of a stopgap. If he doesn't pan out, no biggie. He could find his game, though...in the past he was quite a productive D-man.
Yep. If Doughty and Roy come back he's not going to be playing. If only one of them come back, he's still probably not playing. It's a stop gap and a good use of a 7th rounder.
Honestly Roy might as well start packing his stuff, I don't know how much longer he's going to be in the lineup with these kids.
This injury stretch has had me thinking what if it’s Roy traded this offseason and not Durzi? What if they forego the offensive LD and just load up down the right with Doughty, Durzi and Clarke and shut it down on the left side? Save the assets for forward upgrades instead.
I don’t ever want to see a guy like Sean Durzi fighting someone two weight classes above himself ever again.
Wouldn't be shocked to see both traded. Spence is a better Durzi and you've also got Clarke and Faber on the right side coming up.This injury stretch has had me thinking what if it’s Roy traded this offseason and not Durzi? This!!!
Doughty, Roy, Walker = Vets
Durzi, Spence = puck movers who look like NHL players today
Clarke = top prospect puck mover
Grans, Faber = more future prospects
We are 8 deep for 3-4 spots. And that doesn't even include Troy who looked solid last night with Edler. Blake has some serious trade capital to play with.

Gotta believe Troy and Edler are both gone after this season.
