I will be representing at the Kings Avs game here in Denver on the 29th. 6th row behind the Avs goal. Got tix yesterday
 
Any thoughts on why our leading scorer and most deceptive forward doesn't start in OT or get a crack at the first 3 in the shootout?
 
Observations from the cheap seats:

48 brings nothing. Fake tough guy. Cost the team with his macho BS act.
8 is really fading. All season, lots of boo boos - bad passes, bad penalties, bad decisions. How many more years on his deal?
46 has really grown on me as a hustle bug - team player. Dude is a baller.
11 - win a damn faceoff on the PK.

34 - missing his play last 2 games.
32 deserves better.

I'm OK getting one point when playing a better team on the road so be thankful. I would like to see the record of the Kings the last 10 seasons the game before the Christmas Holiday.
 
At least Kings are in a playoff position and the other Pacific foes look like they're not getting on some winning streak.

He's not a good player and is borderline useless.

Well put. I especially agree about putting Pepe on the ice. I don't know why McLellan made so many lineup changes while the team was on a win streak.

I've seen Lemeuix play at a level that make shim worth his spot. When he' son, he's hitting, strong on the forecheck, and has a decent shot. When he's off though, he's crossed the line and taking ill timed penalties, and more concerned with agitation than what he needs to do to help the team win. Unfortunately, i thought the refs went a little overboard last night and his bs pretty much cost us teh game. It felt rather unecessary as it didnt really look like anything was going to happen after JAD took a bump, so lemeuix inserted himself into the situation needlessly. He need sto be better than that.

Kings just were not up to this game. They've played a lot of games so far and back to backs too and it looks like it is wearing them down.

Pepe is completely expendable at this point, especially if his role is tough guy and that costs like it did this game.

As for Dewey, age is catching up as expected. Can't have him playing as many minutes as he is night in, night out and expect a high level of play anymore.
 
How many goals did the Kings score against Arizona? That is why they lost.
