***LA Kings @ Calgary Flames GDT 3/31/22 6:00pm on BSW***

How could I have forgotten to put Coach Sutter in the "Former Kings" originally?? Also forgot that Jason Labarbera is their goalie coach. (fixed in the OP now)

Just saw that JAD has been recalled on an "emergency basis" but no word on who is injured.


I'll go ahead and make my guesses now of 1 or 4 points for our old friends.

Would be really nice to get another point out of this game tonight. Not sure the boys have any gas left in the tank after last night. Juice was looking pretty wiped out towards the end of the game - his most TOI ever (over 25 mins)

How is Markstrom playing so well under LABARBERA?!?!?!?!
 
I'll go with 0 or 1 point. Hopefully the Kings can play a lockdown game and get a much needed win.

One would have to assume JAD will center the 4th line in Lizzo's place. Perhaps Lias isn't quite ready for that role. They will definitely need to roll 4 lines vs. the Flames instead of icing 7 defensemen.

Markstrom is very good. I have said for several years that he is the best goalie in the Western Conf. (I've been saying it since he was on Vancouver)
 
The Mayor is speculating JAD will replace someone other than Lizotte. Apparently, someone else was "banged up" last night.
